Activities

There are lots of activities for people of all ages to join in, in the village.

Playtime Centre a place for mum or dad to take the under 5's is held each Mon morning at the CWA Rooms.

Little Athletics meet on Thursdays after school from October to March.  Information is usually distributed through the school before the season commences.

Soccer and Rugby League have clubs in the Orara Valley for Juniors.

Karate Lessons are given in the hall during the school term for those wishing to learn one of the martial arts. 

Fitness Classes are available through the Orara Valley Community Pool 3 times a week.

Tennis Courts are available for hire for both day or night tennis.

The Sunshine Club (for those over 50) meet every second Friday from 10:00am in the hall.

The Pony Club meet at the Recreation Grounds.

Community Raffles are held every Friday night at the Golden Dog Hotel from 6:30 - 7:30pm.

The Creative Group (on the community page) on Wednesday mornings, a place to take your art or craft, spend time and share ideas with like minded people.

Take a short drive and there are any number of places you can go bushwalking, the most popular being the Middle Creek walk to Scouts Waterfall. 

If the beach is your favourite place then the Coffs Coast and all that the beach offers are just an easy 1/2 hr drive away.
